Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Kata (ranked 5980 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kabyn Palmer (ranked 22852 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: i'm a cow. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Kata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kabyn Palmer!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kata takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Kata lets loose with a powerful body kick. Palmer will feel that in the morning.
Palmer moves away from the strike by Kata.
Palmer takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kata throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Palmer.

It looks like Kabyn Palmer has been cut.
Kata lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kata. That's going to slow Palmer down.
Palmer throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Kata cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Palmer tries to bum rush Kata with a series of wild strikes but Kata uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Palmer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kata moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kata feints and then cracks Palmer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Palmer down.
The fighters circle, before Kata throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Palmer's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Kata lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Jim Kata!
Kabyn Palmer was interviewed post fight and said 'im sorry cows'.
