Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Dog!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Dog lands a leg kick that knocks Vale off balance momentarily.
Vale motions for Dog to come forward. Vale throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vale pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dog looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Dog has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Dog throws a leg kick but Vale moved away.
Dog throws a low kick, looking for Vale's leg but Vale calmly moves out of range.
Dog throws out a leg kick but Vale moves out of range and Dog only half commits.
Vale lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Vale tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dog was well out of range. Poor timing from Vale.
Vale drops his hands momentarily and Dog takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dog pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Vale throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vale throws a jab but it's blocked by Dog.
Dog misses with a wild body shot.
Dog getting the better of the striking in that exchange.


It looks like Simon Vale has been cut.
Dog moves out of range of the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters circling - Dog throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A cross from Vale lands.
Simon Vale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vale throws a body punch but Dog moves out of range.
Dog shapes to counter with a head kick.

A shot to the liver by Vale. Beautiful body shot.
Dog is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A slapping leg kick lands for Dog.
Vale lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Vale lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Dog closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Vale fails to land.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Vale.
Dog blocks a body shot from Vale.
Vale is trying to break the clinch but Dog is controlling him.
Vale pushes Dog back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Dog misses with a hook to the ribs.
Vale prevents a body shot from Dog.
Vale scores with a hook to the body.
Vale lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dog or not.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head punch on the inside from Vale fails to land.
Dog misses with some punches.
Vale misses with an elbow strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vale working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Dog tries to stall but Vale uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Vale blocking some punches.
Vale scores with a shoulder strike.

Vale pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vale throws a monster overhand right that drops Dog! Vale follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Vale!
