Huchkov lands a nice shot to the body.
Huchkov dodges the punch combination from Mack.
Huchkov lands with a cross.
Huchkov bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Mack! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Mack is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Huchkov gets to his feet and stands over Mack, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Mack felt that one! Huchkov unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Mack from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matel Huchkov!
Matel Huchkov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
