Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tong avoids the head kick by Ahikaroa.
Tong scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ari Ahikaroa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A clash of legs there as Tong blocks the low kick.
Tong throws a leg kick which misses Ahikaroa's front leg but catches the back leg as Ahikaroa tries to avoid it.
Ahikaroa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tong as he jumps to the side.
Ahikaroa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tong seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ahikaroa lands a left and a right that send Tong crashing to the mat, dazed. Ahikaroa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've been hearing reports that Tong has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ahikaroa cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
