The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
La Croix throws a leg kick but Cheese checks it.
Cheese takes a swing at La Croix's ribcage but misses.
Cheese sizes up La Croix with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
La Croix lets loose with a powerful body kick. Cheese will feel that in the morning.
La Croix throws out a leg kick but Cheese moves out of range and La Croix only half commits.
Cheese fakes high and swings low for a body shot but La Croix manages to avoid it.
La Croix takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
La Croix connects with a leg kick. Cheese looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Dick Cheese seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Cheese, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
La Croix avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Cheese stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from La Croix.
La Croix lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cheese's sensitive parts.
We've been informed that La Croix has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

La Croix creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Cheese crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Cheese face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! La Croix takes it with a brutal technical knockout!

A less than humble Nero La Croix misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
