Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Buchanan (ranked 1768 p4p, 69 weight class) and Aki Hiko (ranked 2040 p4p, 82 weight class). Buchanan comes to the cage accompanied by Wait and Bleed. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiko lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Buchanan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hiko!

Hiko felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

It looks like Aki Hiko has been cut.
Hiko is trying to control Buchanan's posture but Buchanan avoids it.
Buchanan creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

The cut above Aki Hiko's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Buchanan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Aki Hiko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Aki Hiko's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A relieved looking Paul Buchanan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
