Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mick Dundee (ranked 1624 p4p, 228 weight class) and Skeng Man (ranked 2217 p4p, 297 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mick Dundee has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mick Dundee seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mick Dundee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Skeng Man!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Man throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Dundee to regain full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Man landing with the ground and pound.
Dundee pulls Man in close to prevent any damage.
Man postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dundee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dundee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Dundee's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Dundee is controlling Man's posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Man pushing down on Dundee's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Dundee controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

Man is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dundee has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dundee is trying to maintain the position but Man is very close to passing his half guard.
Dundee keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Man is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dundee doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Man.
Man thows a huge punch but Dundee dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Man missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Dundee keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Man sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dundee defending well though.

Man is looking for a kimura but Dundee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Man to get the leverage.

Man has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dundee defend it? Man steps over the head and cranks it - Dundee is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Skeng Man!
