PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pikku Näkäräinen (ranked 3633 p4p, 404 weight class) and Sampson Shain (ranked 4170 p4p, 441 weight class). Sampson Shain will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shain moves into range and connects with a jab.
Shain lands a nice hook to Näkäräinen's body. Näkäräinen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice straight punches there by Shain. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Shain.

Näkäräinen is nestled in close to Shain, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Shain is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.

Näkäräinen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Näkäräinen pushes a forearm under Shain's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Shain is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
