Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Razmig Grigorian (ranked 59 p4p, 10 weight class) and Magnus Pyke (ranked 286 p4p, 39 weight class). Grigorian kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ara Gevorgyan - Artsakh. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pyke's choice of entrance music: Magnus Pyke. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grigorian walks into a jab.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pyke has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Grigorian got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pyke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grigorian has managed to get both his arms back between Pyke's legs - danger averted.

Pyke with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Grigorian to score with a decent uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pyke crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Grigorian - the referee stops the clock and Pyke gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Grigorian. Pyke manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

It looks like Magnus Pyke has been cut.
Grigorian bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Razmig Grigorian will probably get the nod.
