Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joca Carioca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hodi Garbandit!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ron Honeybunn and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carioca takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Garbandit scores with a jab to the head.
Garbandit thows a left - swing and a miss!
Carioca definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Garbandit misses with a hook. Carioca ducked under it nicely.
Carioca closes this distance looking for a takedown but Garbandit circles away.
Garbandit throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Garbandit rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Carioca counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Garbandit tries to kick Carioca off but Carioca keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Garbandit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carioca. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Garbandit pushes Carioca off, looking to escape but Carioca dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Garbandit is forced to tap! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Joca Carioca!
