Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harold Harmbe (ranked 1326 p4p, 174 weight class) and John Carter (ranked 4357 p4p, 462 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Carter lands in his opponent's guard.
Carter is pushing down on Harmbe's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harmbe is fighting to maintain full guard but Carter has managed to sneak the leg through.

We've been hearing good reports from Harmbe's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Carter seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
