Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Halo (ranked 6647 p4p, 683 weight class) and Cornelius Burns (ranked 6395 p4p, 658 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo walks into a left hand.

Cornelius Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halo walks into a straight right hand from Burns.
Halo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Burns.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Burns! But no joy.
Burns cracks Halo with an open hand slap.
Halo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Burns in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cornelius Burns showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well Burns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
