I think Chlapik might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to PIPES AND PINTS / Criticized . Jakub Chlapik has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chlapik lands with a nice body punch.
A head kick from Chlapik lands but Liguy takes it in his stride.
Liguy needs to keep his hands up - Chlapik had a free shot at his head there.
Chlapik scores with a decent looking hook.
Chlapik scores with a jab. Liguy acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Liguy misses with a right hand
and Chlapik counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Liguy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chlapik pinned against the cage. Chlapik gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Chlapik is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Liguy walks forward, straight into a front kick from Chlapik.

Chlapik slaps away a takedown attempt from Liguy, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Liguy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Liguy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Chlapik tries to kick Liguy off but Liguy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Liguy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chlapik with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Liguy working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Chlapik is trying is best to control the position here.
Chlapik is trying to stand up here but Liguy is controlling him well.

Chlapik has one foot on Liguy's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Chlapik feints and then cracks Liguy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Liguy down.
Liguy moves in looking to clinch but Chlapik pushes him off.

Chlapik shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Liguy is trying to defend but Chlapik finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Chlapik gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Liguy tries for a takedown but Chlapik sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Liguy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Chlapik has taken the fight to the clinch.
Chlapik is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Liguy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chlapik sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Chlapik closes the distance and clinches.
Liguy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chlapik smiles and moves away.
Chlapik lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Liguy backs up against the cage.
Chlapik moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Liguy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Chlapik lands with an overhand left.

Liguy is rocked!
Chlapik connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Liguy is still on wobbly legs! Can Chlapik finish him?
Chlapik closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Liguy! Chlapik dives in looking to finish! Liguy is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
