Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Meatball Destroyer!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Destroyer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Markell moves away.
Markell misses with a wild combination.
Destroyer throws out a counter right but Markell avoids it with no problem.
Markell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nice takedown defense from Destroyer. No joy for Markell on that attempt.
Markell tries to clinch but Destroyer moves away
and Destroyer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Destroyer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Destroyer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Markell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Markell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Destroyer avoids it really well and circles away.
Destroyer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Markell circles away quickly and effectively.

Destroyer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Markell was well out of range. Poor timing from Destroyer.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Destroyer enables Markell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Destroyer manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Markell drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Destroyer dives on top into guard.

Markell seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Markell drops back looking for a leg! Destroyer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Destroyer manages to kick Markell off! Markell jumps back into Destroyer's guard.
