The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Maximus throws a series of punches but Monk moves out of range.
Oooooh!!! Monk has knocked Maximus down with a huge combo! Monk steps away and waves a wobbly Maximus back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like DJ Maximus has been cut.
Monk misses with a two punch combination.
Monk takes one on the button.

Monk definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Maximus counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Maximus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Monk under the eye.

Monk sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Maximus's defenses. It connects perfectly with Maximus's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

A less than humble Silas Monk misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
