Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francisco Babyara (ranked 3202 p4p, 126 weight class) and Ruben Kirby (ranked 5000 p4p, 184 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirby walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Babyara looks to land a right hand but Kirby moved out of range.
Babyara takes one on the button.
Babyara throws a series of punches but Kirby avoids them all with ease.
Babyara looks to score with a jab to the body but Kirby is just out of range.
Kirby unleashes a big counter combination but Babyara bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Babyara displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kirby throws out the jab.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kirby has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Kirby changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Babyara looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Babyara closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Kirby out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Francisco Babyara really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Helsinki Xtreme Fightwear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
