The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson connects with a looping right hand.
Hanson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dias Jimenez.
Dias Jimenez pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hanson is out of range and Dias Jimenez settles back down.
Hanson swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Dias Jimenez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Rikkard Hanson has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hanson is defended easily by Dias Jimenez.

Dias Jimenez wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hanson manages to pass to side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hanson is looking to advance position but Dias Jimenez won't allow it.
Hanson wants to control but Dias Jimenez is keeping him busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hanson goes for a double leg but Dias Jimenez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dias Jimenez continues to drive forward.

Hanson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dias Jimenez sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It looked like Dias Jimenez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Dias Jimenez throws a solid leg kick but Hanson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dias Jimenez.
