Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Aoki (ranked 3507 p4p, 296 weight class) and Hugo Wolf (ranked 4821 p4p, 367 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hugo Wolf!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aoki tries to sprawl but Wolf drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Aoki has one foot on Wolf's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Aoki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wolf was well out of range. Poor timing from Aoki .
Wolf takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Wolf shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wolf looks to land a strike but Aoki avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Aoki utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wolf postures up in Aoki 's guard and throws a big left but Aoki blocks it.
Aoki has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wolf is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wolf with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Wolf keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Aoki 's head.

Wolf postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Aoki covers up, he's hurt! Wolf keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Wolf and the ref steps in to end the fight! Wolf can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

A relieved looking Hugo Wolf thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
