Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henrique Ramos (ranked 438 p4p, 56 weight class) and Riza Rakija (ranked 919 p4p, 124 weight class). Ramos's entrance music is Sepultura - Nomad. A fine choice. Rakija has chosen Rakija as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakija ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ramos moves away.
A head kick misses from Rakija.
A quick step to the side and Ramos tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
An inside leg kick lands from Rakija.
Ramos is looking to land body kicks.
Ramos throws a leg kick but Rakija sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Rakija shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ramos but Ramos pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ramos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rakija stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We've been informed that Rakija has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Horrible takedown attempt by Rakija or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramos, which made it look bad.

That was a close round but I would say that Henrique Ramos will probably get the nod.

Ramos wants to control the pace but Rakija is squirming around nicely.
Rakija tries to hold on but Ramos postures up.
Ramos loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Rakija scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ramos land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ramos stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henrique Ramos!
A relieved looking Henrique Ramos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
