Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wade Wilson (ranked 4539 p4p, 485 weight class) and Patriciano Pelosi (ranked 4112 p4p, 442 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pelosi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Pelosi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wilson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pelosi can't keep his opponent in guard - Wilson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wilson wants to work for an arm triangle but Pelosi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Wilson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Wilson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wilson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pelosi can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wilson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Pelosi takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Pelosi has left one of his arms exposed and Wilson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pelosi screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
