Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Aloysius Martin Thesz (ranked 3007 p4p, 387 weight class) and Temujin Lee (ranked 1975 p4p, 257 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Temujin Lee enters the cage!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 9 losses; Aloysius Martin Thesz! And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Temujin Lee!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Thesz tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
Lee shoots for a takedown but Thesz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Thesz counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lee!

A lull in the action here as Thesz stalls from top position.
Thesz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Thesz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Thesz is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
We've been hearing good reports from Thesz's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
