Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Wooden Pencil (ranked 5031 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Kampmann (ranked 2563 p4p, 0 weight class). Pencil comes to the cage accompanied by Full Retard. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kampmann's choice of entrance music: The Wild Boys. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Wooden Pencil! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Martin Kampmann!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Pencil clinches up against the cage.

Kampmann drops back looking for a leg! Pencil is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pencil manages to kick Kampmann off! Kampmann jumps back into Pencil's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pencil is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Pencil wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Kampmann drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pencil manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kampmann has Pencil in his guard.

Pencil is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Kampmann is looking to sweep but instead, Pencil has passed into half guard.

Pencil controls from within his opponent's guard.

Pencil stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kampmann swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kampmann is on top in guard.

Kampmann might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pencil haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pencil is on top in guard.
