Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badir Housasi (ranked 7433 p4p, 231 weight class) and Super Meat Boy (ranked 1974 p4p, 73 weight class). Housasi comes into the arena with Eminem - Berzerk blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Super Meat Boy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Meat Boy 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Super Meat Boy has been cut.
Meat Boy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It seemed like Meat Boy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Housasi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Meat Boy moves away.
Meat Boy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Housasi lands a jab to the nose.
Meat Boy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Housasi's sensitive parts.
Meat Boy lands with a nice body kick.
Meat Boy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Meat Boy takes a swing at Housasi's ribcage but misses.
Meat Boy buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Meat Boy scores with a hook to the body. Housasi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Meat Boy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Meat Boy throws a leg kick which misses Housasi's front leg but catches the back leg as Housasi tries to avoid it.
Housasi throws a poor cross that misses
and Meat Boy counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Meat Boy lands a jab to the head.
Housasi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Meat Boy.
Housasi's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.
Meat Boy throws a front kick that sends Housasi stumbling back into the cage.
Housasi takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Meat Boy cracks Housasi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Meat Boy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Housasi to stand back up!

Housasi is rocked!

It looks like Badir Housasi has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Meat Boy feints and then cracks Housasi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Housasi down.
Oh Housasi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That kick from Meat Boy tenderised Housasi's leg. Housasi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Housasi seems to have got his legs back now.
Meat Boy scoring well with a low kick there.
Meat Boy lands a leg kick that knocks Housasi off balance momentarily.
Badir Housasi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meat Boy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Meat Boy flashes Housasi a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Housasi's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Housasi crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Meat Boy punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Super Meat Boy!
Super Meat Boy spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
