Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fletch Brandis (ranked 1789 p4p, 184 weight class) and Maikel Fortuyn (ranked 1556 p4p, 161 weight class). Brandis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Voodoo. Maikel Fortuyn will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandis misses with a combination
and Fortuyn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheers as Fortuyn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brandis doesn't seem phased though.
Brandis misses the body punch
and Fortuyn counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Brandis is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Brandis throws a body punch but Fortuyn moves out of range.
Brandis misses with a hook
and Fortuyn counters with a solid body kick.
Brandis misses with a body shot.
Fortuyn replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Brandis blocks it well.
Fortuyn moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Brandis is rocked!
Fortuyn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fortuyn keeps Brandis at a distance using the push kick.
Oh Brandis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A shot to the body from Brandis misses
and Fortuyn counters with a monster head kick that knocks Brandis out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!

A relieved looking Maikel Fortuyn thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Fletch Brandis spoke after the fight, saying 'I think I'm gonna drink a Miller Lite tonight and play some pool.'.
