Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ludo Van Veen (ranked 817 p4p, 109 weight class) and Maxwell House (ranked 771 p4p, 104 weight class). Van Veen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Give it ALL. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

House dives in looking to finish as Van Veen flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block House's strikes! House is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Van Veen's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Van Veen was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
