PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Dangerfield (ranked 310 p4p, 45 weight class) and Jon Horn (ranked 3970 p4p, 461 weight class). Dangerfield kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Immortal - All Shall Fall. Rocco Dangerfield has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horn lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Rocco Dangerfield has been cut.

Dangerfield has managed to clinch.
A right hand to the body from Dangerfield.
Dangerfield cracks Horn with a nice body shot.
Horn is trying to break the clinch but Dangerfield is controlling him.

Dangerfield works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Dangerfield controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Dangerfield landing with the ground and pound.

Horn is looking to stand up but Dangerfield isn't so interested in that idea.
Dangerfield with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dangerfield postures up in Horn's guard and throws a big left but Horn blocks it.
Dangerfield is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dangerfield throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Horn works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dangerfield lands a couple of digs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dangerfield accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dangerfield distracts Horn with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Horn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dangerfield. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Horn wants to get back to his feet but Dangerfield is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Horn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dangerfield working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Horn wants to stand and escape but Dangerfield is having none of it.
Dangerfield stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Horn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dangerfield sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Horn's guard.
Horn has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Dangerfield uses his free foot to push down on Horn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Horn.
Dangerfield lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

It looks like Jon Horn has been cut.

Dangerfield pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Horn is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
