Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boot Inface (ranked 6074 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Nice (ranked 6416 p4p, 0 weight class). Mr Nice is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Inface looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Nice is wriggling around but Inface manages to pass to half guard.

Nice should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Nice tries to kick Inface off in order to stand up. Inface Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Inface thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nice enables Inface to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nice manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nice throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Inface's waist but Inface gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nice off to one side.

Nice changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Inface looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Nice looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Inface with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Boot Inface.
Well Inface has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
