The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powell avoids the body shot from Turnbull.
Powell let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Turnbull lands with a thumping leg kick.
A shot to the body from Powell misses
and Turnbull counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Turnbull scores with a crisp jab that stopped Powell in his tracks.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Powell is defended easily by Turnbull.
Powell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Turnbull.
Nice body kick from Turnbull.
Turnbull has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Powell has a takedown stuffed.
Powell's coach down at Tayne's 4d3d3d3 Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Powell's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Good exchange - Turnbull coming out on top.
Powell gets tackled into the cage by Turnbull. Turnbull maintains the clinch.
Powell throws a head punch that misses.
Turnbull stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A nice left hand lands by Turnbull.

Powell is trying to break the clinch but Turnbull has him pressed against the cage.

Colin Turnbull has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Love-Hate Powell.
Turnbull keeps control of Powell as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Turnbull will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Powell up against the cage.

Still in the clinch, Turnbull scores with a nice short uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turnbull lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Powell backwards.
Turnbull lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Powell is rocked!
Turnbull creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Powell's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Powell drops to his knees and Turnbull pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colin Turnbull!
A relieved looking Colin Turnbull thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
