The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pits misses with a double jab.
Opstad tries to counter with a clinch but Pits shakes him off and moves away.
Pits throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pits lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pits.
Opstad avoids a kick to the body.
Pits misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pits drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Kyle Pits has been cut.
We've been informed that Opstad has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Leon Opstad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
