Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Willem Kriel (ranked 2507 p4p, 331 weight class) and Calabi Yau (ranked 1084 p4p, 152 weight class). Kriel comes to the cage accompanied by Jack Parow & Freshlyground - Army Of One. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Willem Kriel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calabi Yau!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yau slips a straight right by Kriel.

Yau throws a hook to the side of Kriel's head but Kriel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Oooooh!!! Yau has knocked Kriel down with a huge combo! Yau steps away and waves a wobbly Kriel back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Calabi Yau is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Yau throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kriel.
Kriel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

As Yau backs away, Kriel returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Kriel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yau moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Calabi Yau seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kriel drops his hands momentarily and Yau takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jab, jab by Yau - just one landing.

And that's the end of the fight!
Calabi Yau comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Yau winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
