The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock lands a nice shot that snaps DeNeuve's head back.
Shamrock stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
DeNeuve slips under a jab.
Shamrock looks to land a left hand but DeNeuve moved out of range nicely.
DeNeuve keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
DeNeuve lands with an uppercut that bounces Shamrock off the cage and back into range.
Shamrock misses with a hook.
DeNeuve ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
DeNeuve has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Fit-Out in the buildup to the fight.
Shamrock uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from DeNeuve.
Shamrock throws an uppercut from half a mile away. DeNeuve sees it coming and avoids it easily.
DeNeuve loads up on a big right hand but Shamrock slips the punch.
DeNeuve jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Shamrock shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Shamrock takes one on the chin but seems OK.
DeNeuve on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

DeNeuve gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Shamrock comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Ken Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shamrock takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
DeNeuve missing with a left hand there. Shamrock was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

DeNeuve cracks Shamrock with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Shamrock looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can DeNeuve finish him?

Shamrock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from DeNeuve.
DeNeuve connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

DeNeuve circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Shamrock to the canvas! Shamrock doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - DeNeuve keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

A very excited looking Thor DeNeuve rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
