Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Fagaro (ranked 618 p4p, 79 weight class) and Mustapha Shiit (ranked 1996 p4p, 220 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shiit looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Shiit feints a jab promting Fagaro to slip. Shiit then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fagaro slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Shiit works the jab nicely.
Fagaro swats away the attempt to clinch by Shiit.
Shiit swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Shiit decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
My spies in Big Bear Fight Factory inform me that Shiit has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Fagaro has one foot on Shiit's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Fagaro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shiit takes one to the side of the head.
Fagaro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shiit is fending him off so far but Fagaro persists. Nope, Shiit circles away and we're back to standing.
Shiit drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Fagaro defends it well.

Shiit misses with an uppercut. Fagaro saw that one coming.
Nice shot lands for Shiit.
Shiit gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Shiit throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shiit loads up on a big right hand but Fagaro slips the punch.
A quick step to the side and Fagaro tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shiit will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shiit takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Shiit throws a lazy right hand but Fagaro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Shiit thuds his right hand into Fagaro's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shiit avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fagaro lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Shiit tries a head kick but it misses.
Fagaro swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Fagaro fails to land with a series of punches.
Fagaro shoots in but no luck this time.
Shiit dives in and grabs Fagaro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fagaro pushes down on Shiit's head and hops out.
Shiit seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Fagaro shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Shiit is backing up but Fagaro catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Shiit covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Fagaro Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Fagaro!
Don Fagaro was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
