Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cal Klos (ranked 1317 p4p, 178 weight class) and Dre Battle (ranked 1836 p4p, 237 weight class). Cal Klos is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Battle uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Klos.
Battle wants to counter the offense by Klos and move into the clinch position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Battle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Klos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Battle manages to get himself to full guard.

Battle is pulling down on Klos's head. It's preventing any offense from Klos, at least for the moment.

We've been informed that Battle has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Klos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Klos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Cal Klos will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Battle is rocked!
Klos circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Battle to the canvas! Battle doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Klos keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
