The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ferguson dips to his left and cracks Gorbachenko with an uppercut!
Ferguson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gorbachenko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ferguson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gorbachenko backs up against the cage.
Gorbachenko takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Sloppy strikes from Ferguson. Those never looked like landing.
A shot to the body from Gorbachenko misses
and Ferguson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gorbachenko is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Gorbachenko misses with a looping right.
Ferguson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Gorbachenko misses with a hook.
Ferguson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ferguson drops his hands momentarily and Gorbachenko takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gorbachenko misses the jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ferguson, as that shot connected.

Ferguson lands a big uppercut and Gorbachenko crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gorbachenko looks OK. Ferguson waves Gorbachenko back to his feet!

Gorbachenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Ferguson finish him?
Ferguson lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Gorbachenko head around and knocks him out cold! Ferguson hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
