Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andre Soares (ranked 1880 p4p, 195 weight class) and Zero Chance (ranked 2822 p4p, 258 weight class). Soares comes to the cage accompanied by Black Sabbath - Iron Man. The crowd seem to be enjoying Chance's choice of entrance music: Nikke Ankara - Aivotonta Räpätiräpää pt.6. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andre Soares!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zero Chance!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chance throws the kick towards the body but Soares avoids it.
Soares blocks a head kick by Chance.
Soares attempts a counter takedown but Chance avoids it well and moves away.
Soares has been working on his balance at Heart Cave (8 elites, 4 double-elites, 1 triple), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Chance.
Soares misses with a jab, cross combination.
Soares avoids the body shot from Chance.
Soares feints a jab promting Chance to slip. Soares then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Chance slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Zero Chance has been cut.
Chance looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Zero Chance seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soares takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Soares is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A head kick from Chance lands but Soares takes it in his stride.
Soares avoids the head kick by Chance.

Soares closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chance to the mat! Chance manages to get full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Soares trying to control the position from guard on top but Chance is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Soares throwing strikes from guard but Chance blocks nicely.

Soares wants to control from the top but Chance keeps moving.
Chance has momentary wrist control but Soares slips an elbow through the middle.

Chance is rocked!
Soares postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Chance covers up, he's hurt! Soares keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Soares and the ref steps in to end the fight! Soares can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andre Soares!
