Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Benoit Loyer (ranked 6781 p4p, 569 weight class) and Simo Solmu (ranked 4075 p4p, 430 weight class). Simo Solmu is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Simo Solmu!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loyer throws a hook but Solmu blocks it.
Solmu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Loyer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Loyer is looking to counter punch.
Loyer throws out a loose jab but Solmu uses good head movement to avoid it.

Solmu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Solmu showed some decent athleticism there.
Well, if Solmu is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Loyer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Solmu is working for a kimura but Loyer is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Solmu has hold of Loyer's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Loyer seems comfortable defending it but Solmu has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Loyer is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Loyer is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Solmu couldn't care less - he's delighted!
