The fighters circle momentarily. Perera darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Gladiator throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Perera connects with a beautiful left hand that drops The Gladiator onto his butt! The Gladiator bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

The Gladiator is rocked!
Perera connects with a quick right hand that sends The Gladiator tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
