Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Eremeev (ranked 3614 p4p, 394 weight class) and Synyx Dall (ranked 1708 p4p, 202 weight class). Dall is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: In Scarlet Storm. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dall takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Eremeev tries to land a front kick but Dall steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Dall changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Eremeev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Eremeev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dall has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Dall decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrey Eremeev will probably get the nod.
