Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Correira (ranked 468 p4p, 52 weight class) and Arjuna Ramadan (ranked 475 p4p, 53 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ramadan's choice of entrance music: Positive Vibration. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramadan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Correira under the eye.

Ramadan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Correira can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Correira wants to get up but he can't break Ramadan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ramadan is looking for a triangle but Correira pushes his legs off easily.

Correira gets to his feet - Ramadan follows without any prompting.

It looks like Arjuna Ramadan has been cut.

Correira cracks Ramadan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ramadan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Correira finish him?

Ramadan is rocked!
Ramadan drops his hands momentarily. Correira doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ramadan staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ramadan doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Wesley Correira decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
