PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jarrod Lynn (ranked 25084 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Farmer (ranked 7634 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Farmer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jarrod Lynn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Farmer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farmer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lynn.
Farmer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Lynn feints and as Farmer raises his hands in defense, Lynn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lynn connects with a couple of short punches.

Lynn drops back looking for a leg! Farmer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Farmer manages to kick Lynn off! Lynn jumps back into Farmer's guard.

Farmer is working an open guard so Lynn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Farmer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
