The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a series of punches but Welder moves out of range.
Welder shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Santos looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Welder shoots in and bounces Santos off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Santos avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Welder is looking to work some ground and pound but Santos has wrist control.
