Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harold Shipman (ranked 1523 p4p, 184 weight class) and Cruz Lopez (ranked 816 p4p, 105 weight class). Shipman's entrance music is Amazing. A fine choice. Cruz Lopez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez tries to score with a low kick but Shipman moves his leg out of the way.
Lopez walks into a left hand.
Shipman thows a left - swing and a miss!

Shipman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lopez, pushing him back against the cage.
Lopez lands a body punch in the clinch.
Shipman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lopez pulls his leg out and moves away.
Lopez fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Shipman.
Lopez lands a jab to the head.
Lopez feints and then cracks Shipman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shipman down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lopez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lopez throws a push kick but Shipman slaps the foot to one side.
Lopez connects with a looping right hand.

Shipman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lopez gets underhooks to prevent Shipman's takedown attempt.

Lopez works on Shipman's body with a couple of short punches.
Lopez prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harold Shipman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lopez doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Lopez misses with a hook from the clinch.
Lopez lands with a short shot to the head.
Shipman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lopez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Shipman is trying to drag Lopez to the mat but Lopez just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Shipman blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lopez prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lopez misses with a punch on the inside.
Still in the clinch, Lopez scores with a nice short uppercut.
Lopez misses with a body punch.
Shipman wants a takedown.
Lopez lands a hook to the side of the head.

Lopez gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Shipman.
Lopez doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Shipman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A nice left hand lands by Lopez.

Shipman is rocked!
Lopez lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oh Shipman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lopez swings wildly with an uppercut but Shipman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lopez dips a shoulder and cracks Shipman with a mighty uppercut! Shipman falls back against the cage and Lopez unloads with a barrage of strikes! Shipman is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lopez screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
