Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Harold Zoid (ranked 8257 p4p, 65 weight class) and Lars Von Ricther (ranked 3159 p4p, 102 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

It looked like Zoid wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Von Ricther has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Zoid is landing a low percentage of strikes.

I was talking to Zoid's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

That has opened up Lars Von Ricther's cut even more.

Zoid staggers Von Ricther with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Von Ricther looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

Von Ricther walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

Our winner, Harold Zoid, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
