The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakoullis fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Karelis checks it well.
Karelis tries to counter by closing the distance.
Karelis on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Karelis throws a push kick but Kakoullis slaps the foot to one side.
Karelis looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kakoullis scores with a jab to the head.
Karelis throws a right hand that misses
and Kakoullis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Karelis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kakoullis ducks under a wild hook from Karelis.
Karelis avoids the body shot from Kakoullis.
Karelis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kakoullis can pounce on him.

Karelis clinches with his opponent.
Karelis tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kakoullis misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kakoullis scores with a shoulder strike.
Karelis misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kakoullis.
Karelis lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Kakoullis is looking to land body kicks.
A little jabbing left from Karelis on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kakoullis has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gym Beam in the buildup to the fight.
Kakoullis throws a half hearted mid kick.
Karelis checks the leg kick nicely there.

Kakoullis cracks Karelis with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kakoullis has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Karelis to stand back up!
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Kakoullis counters with a straight right hand.

Are you kidding me?! Kakoullis ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Karelis clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
