PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lao Shin (ranked 7 p4p, 1 weight class) and Hector Romero (ranked 33 p4p, 5 weight class). Shin comes to the cage accompanied by Shaolin Chamber of Death. Romero has chosen Havana as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Lao Shin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hector Romero!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero connects with a nice looking jab.
Shin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Romero finds it's way round the side to connect with Shin's head.
Romero fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
As Romero backs away, Shin returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Shin checks a leg kick.

Romero is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shin.

Romero thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Shin if he has to take too many more of those.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I would just about give that final round to Hector Romero.
Well Romero has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
