The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Berger moves into the clinch.

Lawson manages to break the clinch.
Berger on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Lawson circles away from the clinch attempt

and Lawson counters with a head kick that drops Berger to the mat! Berger scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Berger is rocked!
Lawson cracks a nice hook into Berger's ribs.
Oh Berger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lawson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Berger, pushing him back against the cage.

Lawson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lawson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Lawson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Berger!

Lawson is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Berger tries to clinch but Lawson moves away
and Lawson counters with a leg kick.
Berger is breathing heavily.

Lawson closes the distance looking for a takedown. Berger stuffs it but Lawson still has hold of him. Lawson picks Berger up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Lawson slams Berger to the floor and that's really hurt Berger - he doesn't know where he is! Lawson throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
