Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ron Snow (ranked 25091 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Martinez (ranked 8044 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Martinez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez drives through with a takedown into Snow's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Martinez wants to pass the guard but Snow is keeping the position.
Snow working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Martinez.
Snow looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Snow being controlled here, momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Martinez wants to get up but he can't break Snow's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Martinez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Martinez wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Martinez scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Snow is refusing to be controlled, as Martinez sits in half guard.
Martinez is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martinez is pressing down on Snow's thigh, looking to free his foot. Snow is holding on for now.
Martinez is working for a submission of some sort.
Snow won't allow Martinez to pass to mount.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Martinez is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Snow defends it well.
Martinez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Snow's head.
Snow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Snow is rocked!
Martinez is trying to work for a kimura but Snow is defending well.
Oh Snow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Martinez stalling.
Martinez working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Martinez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Martinez lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Snow quite badly. Snow pulls Martinez in close trying to recover. Martinez postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Snow on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Snow doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Martinez!
