Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikel Heibert (ranked 4510 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snake Bit (ranked 6438 p4p, 0 weight class). Heibert is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heibert will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bit looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Heibert is breathing heavily.
Bit moves out of range as Heibert strikes.
Heibert throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bit.
Heibert throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bit sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Heibert uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bit.
Bit takes a swing at Heibert's ribcage but misses.
A decent looking cross lands there for Bit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bit rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Heibert moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Heibert gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Heibert utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bit lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Bit has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bit postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Bit postures up and lands a big shot to Heibert's brow.
Bit works over Heibert with some ground and pound from guard.
Heibert is rocked!
Bit loads up on a big left hand. Heibert felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bit looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Heibert can't hide his disappointment, as Bit celebrates the victory.
