Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carter Martin (ranked 1153 p4p, 169 weight class) and Alexander Potter (ranked 798 p4p, 115 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carter Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Potter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin misses with a jab to the body
and Potter counters with a three punch combo that has Martin backing up. Martin nods at Potter to acknowledge the strikes.
Potter's corner calls for a 1-2. Potter obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Potter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Potter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Martin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Potter has hold of Martin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Martin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Potter is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Martin has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Martin!

Potter shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Martin is trying to defend but Potter finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Potter is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Martin still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Martin has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
