The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Guy counters with a leg kick.
Guy scores with a takedown into Jenkins's guard.
Guy throwing strikes from guard but Jenkins blocks nicely.
Jenkins looking for a sweep. Not yet Jenkins, not yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jenkins can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jenkins has his hands on Guy's head, controlling the position.
Jenkins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Guy with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jenkins is adopting a defensive guard.
Jenkins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Guy manages to get himself to full guard.
Jenkins is working Guy over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Guy wants to control the position but Jenkins says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Jenkins works his foot free and advances to mount.
Jenkins postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Guy looks a forlorn figure.

Guy is in a horrible position here. Jenkins smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Guy is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Guy tries to hold on but Jenkins pushes him away.
Jenkins cracks Guy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Guy is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Jenkins! Guy is hurt baaadly! Jenkins is firing away with more strikes - Guy is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Jenkins!
After the fight, Tony Jenkins was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
